BPAY and Payments

With BPAY, you can choose the account you want to pay from and even schedule payments for up to 18 months in advance. Set them up as soon as you receive a bill then sit back and relax knowing you're not going to be charged a late fee.

Paying a bill with BPAY

Log on to online banking on browser
Go to My banking > Move money / Pay a bill > Pay with BPAY
Select 'BPAY' under 'Payee type' and add relevant details to make a bill payment via BPAY
All BPAY payees will be saved automatically under 'Saved payees' so you can easily make a payment in future

Frequently asked questions

HSBC and your Biller will acknowledge payments on the day you pay it, as long as:

it's a Banking Business Day^ and
payment is made before the cut-off time

BPAY makes it easy to pay a bill on whichever future date you choose. All you need to do is, choose a date when making your BPAY payment.

If you pay a bill on the weekend or a public holiday, the biller will acknowledge and process it on the next Banking Business Day^.
